Handrails are the horizontal upper components that can be grasped by hand. They are typically used in terraces, balconies, and staircases, and are usually made from aluminum or similar metal materials. This railing system provides safety and support in elevated areas.
Handrail Requirement
According to Article 46 of the Planned Areas Type Zoning Regulation, handrails must be installed around balconies and terraces. For open staircases with more than five steps, handrails must be at least 0.90 meters high from the floor level in window openings where the floor elevation is below 0.90 meters.
Railings
Railings are devices made from materials such as wood, metal bars, tempered glass, or marble, designed to surround stairwells to prevent falls and ensure safety. They should be compatible with the materials used in the staircase.
Folding Glass Balcony Systems
Glass balcony enclosure systems provide the quickest way to create an aesthetic, modern, and functional balcony in your home. The glass used in these systems is 8 mm thick and made from tempered glass for added durability.
Sunshades
Sunshades are systems commonly used in commercial buildings to maximize or control solar energy. They effectively block direct sunlight entering the building and can be integrated into facade cladding systems. Sunshades protect against harmful radiation from direct sunlight while allowing optimal utilization of daylight.
Adjustable Door Frames
Adjustable door frames are affordable and high-quality frames made from sheet metal. Their durability against breaking, impact, and scratches makes them a preferred choice. They can be manufactured in any size and color, making them especially popular in crowded areas like shopping malls, hospitals, and cinemas. Due to their robust construction, they are often used for emergency exit doors.
Office Partitions
Office partition systems are among the most preferred applications for office design. They utilize glass and panels to effectively divide spaces for employees and other users.
Sliding Glass Balconies
Sliding glass balconies feature five separate rail systems that prevent rain, snow, or dust from entering the area. They are typically used in narrow balconies, office partition systems, and similar commercial spaces. Depending on demand, special locks can be installed for quick access between glass panels.
